ARTHUR LEE NEWSOME

Mr. Arthur Lee Newsome was a lifelong resident of Lake Placid, Florida. Arthur was born on December 25, 1950, in Leslie, Georgia. He was the son of Mr. Walter Lee Newsome and Mamie Westbrook.

He passed away on August 30, 2025, in Lake Placid, Florida. He was 74.

Arthur was proceeded in death by his parents, and sister, Lorena Westbrook.

Arthur is survived by his aunt, Janie James; uncle, Leon Westbrook (Jessie); niece and nephews, Crystal Westbrook, Temetric Westbrook, and Jermaine   Westbrook; special cousin, Darcia Kenon-Callahan, also his caretaker.

He was remembered for his warm spirit and kind heart. Arthur used to love to drink Pepsi and Mountain Dew. He enjoyed looking at the news and listening to the radio. He also worked as seasonal worker.
