Boris I. Denissoff, 74, of Avon Park, FL passed away peacefully on September 18, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones.
Boris was born in Southern Pines, North Carolina and spent most of his life as a resident of Pinehurst, North Carolina. He was married to Lynda Yates for 18 years.
Boris retired to Avon Park in 2012 from fence building. An accomplished gardener, he enjoyed spending time in his garden and attending his church, along with spending time with his dog, Peanuts, his children, and grandchildren.
Boris was preceded in death by his mother Mary Evelyn Denissoff; brother, Brian Denissoff; father, Igor Denissoff, and one grandson Nathaniel Lumbley.
He is survived by his loving former wife Lynda (Yates), daughter Autumn (Joseph) Gatusso; son Carl (Rachel) Wood; daughter Amy (Miguel) Brito, grandchildren Kathryn (Joe)McCabe, Wesley Wood, Charity (Ian) Ortiz- Duenas; and one great grandson Emerson Ortiz-Duenas.
Boris will be dearly missed and remembered always.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Sean A. Banks Mortuary and Cremation services of Avon Park, FL. At this time, there is no service scheduled. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Humane Society of Highlands County.
