OBITUARY

Cheryl Susan Nelson, lovingly known as “Susie” of Altamonte Springs, won her battle to cancer at 3:10 a.m. Friday, September 11, 2020, with her husband and daughters alongside her transition in Altamonte Springs, FL. 
Susie was born March 23, 1961 in Saint James, Trinidad to father Fitz-Allen Douglin (deceased) & mother Marjorie Douglin (Walcott)(deceased).

Susie leaves to mourn her legacy, her loving husband Eric Martin Nelson of (36 years). Her Daughters Janine Tiffany Nelson , Aja Janai Nelson, & Cherice Nicole Cumberbatch. Her precious Grandson Cameron Jaylon Nelson as he was her youngest best friend, his “Wheet”. Susie also leaves to mourn her transition her sisters Gloria Sheppard & Dawn Dalrymple, her brothers Noel Douglin, Wayne Douglin, Joel Douglin, Garth Douglin, and is proceeded by sister, Brenda Wilson. She also leaves behind an enormous loving extended family, self proclaimed sons, daughters, grandchildren and close friends to carry on her memory. 

Susie’s life revolved around her family, church, faith, & beliefs. To her last days Susie extended knowledge and help in the holistic approach to healthy living. Those that remember her, will remember her laughter that filled the room. 

To honor & memorialize her legacy a Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at 2 p.m. est. at the Oviedo Community Center, 357 Center Lake Lane
Oviedo, FL 32765 for immediate family & service will be streamed live.
