Mr. David George Gaynor, of Avon Park, passed away on May 13, 2025, with his family surrounding him. He was born in St. Elizabeth's Parrish, Jamaica, Bristish West Indies, on October 15, 1944.
Mr. Gaynor came to the United States in the 1970's. He began working in the agricultural field as a seasonal worker. Oftentimes, this job would take him through Florida, Georgia and along the eastern shore of the United States as the season changed. He also worked as a forklift driver.
Some of Mr. Gaynor's pastimes included playing dominoes and gardening, At times, you may find him in his kitchen cooking his favorite Jamaican dishes: curry goat, curry chicken and saltfish. He was also a member of Faith Pentecostal. House of God, under the leadership of Pastor Eric Wilson.
Mr. Gaynor was proceeded in death by two of his children, Arthur White, Jr. and Wanda White Sharpe.
He is survived by his children: Horace Eads (Rafaela), Seivey West (Hosea), and Ann Marie Lewis. and a host of other relatives.
