It is with great sadness we announce the death of Desirae Hendricks. She passed on October 21,2023. Desirae was a twenty-three-year-old with goals and ambition. She graduated from Avon Park High School in 2019 and was enrolled at South Florida State College working towards her Dental Hygienist degree. She was a daughter, sister, and a loving mother to three small children, Nor'Rayah Walker, Jah'Darius Jenkins, and Kaiden Jenkins. Their ages are four, three and three months old. Her three kids were her pride and joy. She adored her kids more than anything in this world and found true purpose in being a mother. Despite Desirae’s new cancer diagnosis, she was determined to put on a brave face.
Desirae was preceded in death by her grandparents, Eddie and Gloria Walker.
She is survived along with her children, her mother, Norteasha Walker; father, Dwayne Hendricks; siblings, Destionna Hendricks (twin and best friend), Trenitee Stephens, and Lonnie Faniel, Jr.; living maternal grandmother, Sandra Cole; paternal grandmother, Rosie Harper and a host of many other sorrowing family and friends.
