DIANNE UMPIERRE

Dianne Janet Umpierre, a cherished mother to Laila Christine Soto (11), passed away on October 8th, 2024, leaving an irreplaceable legacy of love. Born in the Bronx, New York, Dianne embraced life's challenges, attending college before enlisting in the Army, where she forged lasting connections. Her fun-loving spirit had the power to brighten any day, with her quick smile and unwavering support making a difference to everyone around her.

As a devoted mother, Dianne found her true purpose in Laila, her pride and joy, often expressing how Laila’s birth transformed her life. Their shared moments in the kitchen, particularly perfecting white rice, were filled with laughter and joy. Dianne poured her heart into motherhood, extending her nurturing nature to all children in her life, treating them as her own.

Survived by her beloved daughter Laila, brothers Danny and Kaliq, sister Christine, niece and nephew, Aryanah and Julius & Rowena, Laila’s grandma. Dianne's enduring love will forever resonate in our hearts, and many others.
