ELIZA BUCHANAN

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Eliza M. Buchanan, who left this world on September 11, 2024, at the age of 56, after a courageous battle with cancer. Eliza was surrounded by her close family and friends at the time of her passing, a testament to the deep love and bonds she nurtured throughout her life.

Eliza was born on August 26, 1968, in Brooklyn, NY, but moved to Florida at a young age where she spent much of her life in both Miami and Sebring. 

Eliza is preceded in death by her father, mother and beloved husband.

Eliza is survived by her four children, Jody Bochner, Randy (Steph) Bochner, Ashley (Joe) Daniels, and Michaela (Garrett); five grandchildren, Ella Daniels, Drew Daniels, Dean Daniels, Maximus Bochner, and Asher Buchanan; two brothers, Mike and Robert DeOca; and a host of other family members and friends who loved her dearly.

Eliza's legacy is not only in her passions but in the love she shared with those closest to her. Her memory will continue to live on through her children and grandchildren, who carry forward the values and joy she instilled in them.

Friends and family will remember Eliza for her generous spirit and her infectious laugh. Her impact on the Sebring community and beyond is a reminder of the joy she brought to so many lives. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the remarkable person she was and the incredible mark she leaves on our hearts.
