GENELL HUGHES

Ms. Genell Hughes was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was born on August 8, 1932, in Meridian, MS. She was the daughter of Horace McClellan and Velma McCullum. She passed away on August 1, 2025, in Lake Wales, Florida.

She worked as a day care teacher for many years. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lee R., M,L,, Horace, Jr., and Willie. Jr.; sisters, Daisy Mae, and Effie Lee.

She is survived ny her grandchildren: Albert Wilson and Velma; sister, Kate Mae, and a host of many sorrowing family and friends.
