HEATHER MICHELLE YOUNG

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of our dear mother, Heather Allen Young, who left this world far too soon on July 30th, at 51 years old. 

Heather passed away peacefully in her sleep after 18 long years of fighting health issues. She was born on July 17th, 1974 in Columbus, Ohio to Roy and Gloria Allen. 

Heather was a compassionate and dedicated nurse, devoting her career to bringing comfort to her patients in their final moments. 

A lifelong lover of animals, Heather opened her heart and home to many pets over the years. She gave her full heart to these beloved pets, treating each one with the same tenderness she gave to people. 

Above all, she was a devoted mother. Mom taught us kindness, generosity, and unshakable strength and bravery. We are so thankful for all of the tender moments we have to look back on. 

Heather is survived by her two daughters Kelley Young, Bethany Hughes, son-in-law Ethan, her parents Roy and Gloria, and many many friends. 

We ask that donations be made in her memory to your nearest Humane Society - a cause that was close to her heart. 

Although we will forever miss her Earthly presence, her love, joy, and strength will remain with us always.
