JAMES COLEMAN, II Obituary

James Edward Coleman II, our beloved son, father and brother was born on June 23, 1984 in Pensacola, Florida to Jimmy Coleman and Penny Cobb.
He was a talented artist and multi-instrumentalist. He had a passion for music that extended beyond musical notes.  He creatively would intertwine sounds, beats and rhythms into stories designed by his heart. His intellect and vision of the world transcended life.  He was known for his passionate heart, brilliant mind, quick wit, and infectious smile.
James greatest accomplishment was being a father to his son, Bron. He loved spending time with Bron. They played drums together and James taught Bron how to play bongos and the original djembe that James had played as a kid. They played video games, skate-boarded, biked, trained the dog, visited the beach and theme parks. James was really good at teaching and helping Bron understand things quickly whether it was academically or physically like martial arts. He was always loving and patient with Bron.
He entered eternal life on March 10, 2021.
He is survived by his son, Bron Hassani Coleman (Kendra Wells, mother of Bron), paternal grandparents, Ira Coleman and James Edward Coleman; Grandmother, Patricia Beckford; father, Jimmy Coleman and (step-parent) Robin Coleman; mother, Penny Cobb; Julie Coleman and siblings, Corey Coleman, Parise Coleman Ogunleye (Mosasaye Ogunleye), Lorina Coleman, Desiree Coleman and Jordon Cobb and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended friends.
