JOE STANLEY (SR.) CARTER

Mr. Joe Stanley Carter, Sr. was born on March 8, 1954, in Sebring, Florida, the son of Alfonso and Dorothy Carter. He remained a lifelong resident of Sebring and worked as an herbicide technician for the Department of Transportation. Mr. Carter was married to Tina Riley Carter, and together they raised four children: Sarita, Joe Jr., Seleta, and Jennifer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Al-Jerome Carter. Mr. Carter is survived by his wife of 52 years, Tina Riley; his children, Sarita Rose, Joe Stanley Carter Jr., Seleta Ellis (Gene), and Jennifer Carter; his siblings, Connie Uptgrow, James Blackwell, Troy Blackwell, Alfonsia Carter, Elizabeth Davis, and Allison Lewis; his best friend, Sonny Kinsey; as well as his grandchildren and many other family members and friends who mourn his loss.
