JOSEPH CHRISTOPHER WATT

Joseph Chirstopher Watt of Avon Park was born December 25, 1986, in Avon Park, Florida. Joseph was known by a few nicknames: Joe, Joey, Josie, the Dancing Machine, and Gyalis. In Jamaican patois translates to the ladies' man. Joe passed away on September 23, 2025, in Tampa, Florida with his family surrounding his bedside. Joseph was 38.

Joe was the son of Debra Duffy and Neville Watt.

He attended the schools in Highlands County, and he graduated from Avon Park High School. He ran track in high school competing in the 100m, 200m and the 4 x 100 m relay. After graduation, Joe worked in construction doing stucco work. His favorite football player was Deion Sanders. And everyone knew who his favorite entertainer of all time was none other than the Legendary Michael Jackson!

He was a member of Bethel Pentacostal Holiness Church in Avon Park, Florida.

He is survived by his mother, Debra Duffus; father, Neville Watt; children, Josiah Watt, Saniya Watt and JaShaun; siblings, Noel Collins, Tenssi Leverson, LaTanya Gavin, Neville Dinnall, Hollis Watt, Terrance Watt, Victoria Watt, Shanese Leverson, and T'Jahna Watt; and many more family and friends,
