MARGARET AEPPLI

Margaret Aeppli, lovingly known as Peggy, was born on July 21, 1942, in Poland, Ohio, to Hugh Black and Helen Adams. The youngest of fourteen siblings, Peggy cherished the close-knit bond she shared with her family, often organizing weekly card games that brought everyone together. Her life was marked by devotion—not only to her family, but also to her community and those around them.

Peggy married Dale Aeppli, a dedicated member of the United States Army. Together, they raised three children: Elayne, Debbie, and Tina. Sadly, Dale passed away on April 9, 2009, but Peggy's strength and warmth carried their family forward. Her unwavering generosity meant she always put others before herself, offering support and kindness whenever needed.

Family was the heart of Peggy’s world. She found immense joy in holiday gatherings, creating treasured memories with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Whether sharing a meal or playing games, Peggy’s love for them shone brightly. She also delighted in playing bingo and trying her luck at the casino slot machines—her spirited nature making any outing memorable.

Peggy inspired their daughters by setting a profound example of what it means to lead a meaningful, compassionate life. Their legacy lives on through their children: Elayne K Jones (and former husband Chuck Jones), Debbie S Lossick (with husband James Lossick), and Tina M Nagel (with husband Michael M. Nagel), as well as their grandchildren—Charlie, Craig, Denny, Mila, Audrey, Melanie, Ava, Josiah, Danielle (married to Stephen Borsh), Nicholas, James, and Christina—and great-grandchildren Evelyn, Kinlee, Olivia, and Eli.

Gram’s influence touched countless hearts. Their kindness, laughter, and selflessness will be remembered fondly, and they will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
