MARY FLORENCE BARNARD

Mary Florence Barnard was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on July 23, 1937, to Lewis Bland and Mary Malone. In 2008, she relocated to Florida. For over 28 years, Mary dedicated her career to working in the cafeteria for the Oldham County Kentucky School System. She found joy in listening to the Gaithers Gospel Group, cooking for family and friends, and watching backyard baseball games. Mary was a committed member of the First Baptist Church of Avon Park. She passed away on June 6, 2026, in Avon Park, Florida.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 17 years, William Barnard, who passed in 2001, as well as her siblings Jeannie Burress and Willie Edens. She is survived by her children: David Edens (Dawn), Deborah Williams (Carl), Brenda Foster, Mike Edens, and Louis Edens.
