Nathaniel "Nate" Sutton, Jr. was born on July 5, 1950, in Lake City, Florida. Nate departed this earthly life on September 16, 2018 while peacefully resting.
He was born to Nathaniel Sutton, Sr. and Oretha Curry-Sutton. At an early age, his father moved the family to Sebring, Florida, where he attended and graduated in 1969 from E.O. Douglass High School. He was a member of Benjamin Davis Church of God in Christ, in Sebring, Florida. As time moved on he crossed paths with Delores Crumedy-Neuman, and always promised that no matter where life took him, she would be his bride. Life did take him down different for 36 years. Nate was reunited with Delores Crumedy-Newman, and on April 4, 2009 God granted him his lifelong. Nate then became a member of Antioch Church of God in Christ, in Avon Park, Florida. His journey of laughs, sickness, disappointments, and blessings began and didn't end until his departure. Nate was welcomed into the family as a son, brother, uncle, granddaddy, and so much more. "To know him was to love him just as I did".
Nathaniel was preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel Sutton, Sr. and Oretha Curry-Sutton; two brothers, John and Danny Sutton, and stepson, Kevin Crumedy. He is survived by his loving wife, Delores; three sisters, Dora Williams, Louise Blue, Erlene Tuff (husband,Rickey}; one stepdaughter, Krystal Newman {Andre}; and two stepsons, Rocky Newman and Quentin Crumedy; grandchildren that he loved dearly along with a host of nieces and nephews and other family and friends that loved him. Special friends, Shane Martin, Leroy Small and Rual Gunn, that has been by his side throughout his journey of illness.
