Obituary for Sarah A. Clancy

On February 26th, 2024, Sarah A. Clancy passed away at the age of 77 at The Palms Nursing Facility of Sebring, Florida. Sarah was born on November 18th, 1946 to Irving P. Clancy and Laura M. (Foster) Clancy. Sarah spent her childhood years in Genesee, PA. As an adult she resided in Rochester, NY, Syracuse NY, and her later years she resided in several communities in south Florida. Sarah worked in sales for most of her life and enjoyed socializing with friends and family, good food, games, gardening and music. Sarah loved spending time at the ocean and warm weather. Sarah is preceded in death by her parents Irving and Laura Clancy, and four siblings Edwin Clancy, Mary (Robert) Wise, John (Sue) Clancy and Theresa Clarke and nephew Sean Wise. She is survived by her son James Patrick (Liliya) O’Shaughnessy, daughter Lisa (Don) Clancy-Bruce, grandchildren Nicholas Clancy, Jeremy LaGrange, Naven O’Shaughnessy, Aidan O’Shaughnessy, and great grandchildren Nicholas Clancy Jr. and Ryver Clancy who was born the time of her death on 2/26/24. In addition, she is survived by her sister-in-law Beverly Clancy, brother-in-law Terry Clarke and her nephew and nieces; Michael Clancy, Kelly Bean, Jim Clancy, Patrick John Clancy, Sue (Michael) Strahan, Robert Wise, Von (Darla) Wise, Maggie (Jonathan) Hope, Kevin Clarke, Kristopher Clarke and Christina Clancy. The ceremony for Sarah will be in the summer in her hometown, Genesee PA. A second ceremony will be held in Florida.
