SHEILA LYNN OLSON

Sheila Lynn Olson, 65 of Sebring, FL formerly from Avoca, WI; died August 23, 2025, from a rare form of leukemia.  Sheila graduated from Riverdale High School, Muscoda, WI and also attended SWT College, Fennimore WI with a degree in medical transcription.  Sheila worked in the healthcare field in FL, WI and MT.  She recently moved to Florida for health reasons.

Sheila married Wayne Olson in WI and they later moved to Montana, enjoying their life there.  Wayne also died of cancer and preceded her in death in 1996.

Sheila is survived by her fiancé, Bob Nehrkorn of Sebring, FL; stepsons: Matthew & Megumi Olson of Japan; Chris & Katie Olson of Montana; step grandchildren:  Kailey Olson & Luke Olson, Hadley Olson & Alaiya Olson.  Her mother Shirley Leeck, Blue River, WI; siblings Valerie (Mike) Bailey, Debra Schwingel, Michael (Joan) Kienitz all of the Blue River area.  Special nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, aunts & uncles, and many dear friends especially Jayne & Renee.

Sheila was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; her brother, Dennis Kienitz; nephew, Joey Rogers; dearest friend/adopted sister, Jeanette Pocius, and her son, Ben Brewer; grandparents & other relatives.

A private family burial will be held at a later date at Fairview Lutheran Church, rural Avoca, WI.
