WILLIAM MICHAEL JESTES

William Michael "Micool" Jestes was born on May 26, 1953, in Evansville, Indiana, as the eldest of four boys. Over the years, the family made their home in several places, including Gary, Indiana, San Diego, California, and eventually settled in south Florida. Throughout their life, Micool held various jobs, most notably working at a yacht yard and in lawn maintenance.

Micool had a wide array of passions. They cherished their two beloved dogs, GW Bush and Coolieo, and enjoyed cadillacs, fishing, arts and crafts, woodworking, as well as all genres of music—especially rap. Their interests also included westerns, wrestling, leather, Marilyn Monroe, and Elvis. Though Micool could be rough around the edges, their infectious smile left a lasting impression on everyone they met.

Micool was preceded in death by their parents, William and Jonelle Jestes, and their brother Edgar (EJ) Jestes. They are survived by their brothers Jerry (Josh) Jestes and James (JD) Jestes, their Godchild and caregiver Sandra, Sandra’s sister Tanya, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
