Zealpha Serieux was born in Bowling Green, Florida on August 17, 1945, to the late Willie McCray and Dollie Mae Gaye.
She gave her life to God early in her adulthood. Through the good and bad, she remained faithful to her Savior and was a member of Faith Pentecostal House of God in Avon Park, Florida.
Zealpha was preceded in death by her son, John Lee Brinson; one brother, Joe Nathan McCray; four sisters, Mary Lee Yalde, Georgia Samuel, Carrie Mar Johnson and Jessie Heater; and two sisters-in-law; Elouise and Bobbie.
